We were curious to see if the time of the year a movie is released has anything to do with how well it is received or how well it does financially. We now plot all movies grouped by the month they were released in and plot their critics and audience ratings. If the movie recovers more than twice its budget, we're calling it a financial success. Movies released in a month are then organized by profitability, the most profitable being at the top. Movies can be filtered either by their story or genre at a time. Did you know that the average audience rating for love stories is highest around spring, summer holidays and christmas? Wait...where have we seen this before...
